Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welding/Fabrication Shop Helper to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist skilled welders and fabricators in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow within the shop. Your energetic attitude and mechanical aptitude will contribute to delivering high-quality fabricated components for various construction and food processing projects. Duties
Job duties include keeping the shop extremely clean and organized to include floors, work benches, machining areas, organizing parts and inventory storage, assisting coworkers with their projects as needed and keeping vehicles in proper condition (clean, battery maintained, tire pressures set, etc.)
Experience
Our ideal candidate would be a recent graduate from a welding program or someone with some welding experience who wants to learn more.
Key skills include attention to detail, the ability to think critically and creatively when facing problems, and good communication skills. Candidates must be 18 years of age and have a valid Washington state driver’s license along with a good driving record.
Details
The position is full-time (40 hours per week). M-Th 6:30am-4:00pm and F 6:30am-10:30am. We offer overtime at various times throughout the year as projects require.
We are a drug-free team. Final candidates are required to take a pre-employment drug test.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
