About the Role
We are seeking a Plant Controller to oversee financial operations for our Fortune 500 manufacturing facility in Clarksdale. In this role you will:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Control inventory and conduct cost analyses
- Partner with plant leadership to inform business decisions
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 1st shift
- Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Analyze plant costs, inventory, and operational performance.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Partner with plant leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Pay: $40.00/hour
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Manufacturing or plant accounting experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or manufacturing finance (preferred).
- Manufacturing, plant, or cost accounting experience (strongly preferred).
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close activities (preferred).
- Experience with inventory accounting and financial controls (a plus).
