Position Summary:
Skilled Die Maker with extensive experience in designing, building, repairing, and maintaining precision dies using advancedCAD software. Proven ability to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure high-quality tooling performance through precision craftsmanship and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
- Manufacture, assemble, and test progressive, compound, and transfer dies
- Troubleshoot and repair dies to minimize production downtime
- Milling on router table
- Conduct die tryouts and perform necessary adjustments to meet production standards
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling design
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision records within CAD systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
