The Servicing Manager manages customer accounts throughout the full loan lifecycle, including collections, repossessions, skip tracing, remarketing, and bankruptcy processes. This role requires strong compliance awareness, operational discipline, and the ability to handle complex account situations while maintaining professionalism and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delinquent accounts, including outbound/inbound collections efforts and payment negotiations
- Oversee repossession processes, including vendor coordination and account documentation
- Conduct skip tracing to locate customers and secure updated contact information
- Support remarketing efforts following repossession to maximize recovery outcomes
- Manage bankruptcy accounts in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Process payments, update account records, and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions
- Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulatory standards (FDCPA, TCPA, CFPB, etc.)
- Develop and maintain internal SOPs, process documentation, and reference materials
- Assist with training initiatives and support onboarding of new team members
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to leadership
