Responsibilities:
- Define, configure, and manage applications on the Akamai platform.
- Onboard new applications and support application delivery through Akamai.
- Configure and maintain CDN services to improve website performance and availability.
- Implement and support web security solutions, including WAF and edge protection.
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot CDN, DNS, and application delivery issues.
- Work with application, network, and security teams to support Akamai services.
- Assist with platform upgrades, maintenance, and production support.
- Document configurations and follow operational best practices.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience working with the Akamai platform.
- Experience defining, managing, and onboarding applications to Akamai.
- Experience with CDN configuration and traffic optimization.
- Strong knowledge of web security and edge protection technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Akamai Platform services, including CDN, WAF, and DNS.
- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, and web application delivery.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
