Key Responsibility:

  • Track global biopharmaceutical industry developments, with a focus on hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and autoimmune diseases. Identify unmet needs in early-stage R&D pipelines, clinical demands, and potential market opportunities through in-depth analysis.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including research, clinical development, legal, and commercialization functions, to ensure timely and efficient progression of development programs from early-stage research through commercialization.
  • Support the CEO in developing the company's 3–5 year strategic plan, including international expansion, portfolio prioritization, and business development (BD) partnership strategies, ensuring alignment between corporate objectives, R&D pipelines, and clinical development plans.
  • Oversee and evaluate the planning, execution, and performance of clinical development programs, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. Support project leaders in portfolio management activities, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with clinical development programs, proactively addressing issues that may impact project scope, quality, or delivery. Prepare project progress reports and communicate updates to senior management and external partners.
  • Assess the technical value, market potential, and financial risks of potential investment and M&A opportunities, and participate in transaction negotiations and due diligence processes.


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or above in Biotechnology, Clinical Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of innovative drug development and/or clinical development processes, including clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and commercialization strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to quickly assess the relationship between scientific innovation, technical value, and market potential.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for senior executives and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to independently prepare professional reports, presentations, and participate in international business discussions and negotiations.
  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical/life sciences consulting practice, the strategy or corporate development function of a multinational pharmaceutical company, or a leading biotechnology company is highly preferred.
