Key Responsibilties
- Coordinate internal cross function for due diligence, including early-stage R&D, CMC, clinical, regulatory, and finance departments, providing tracking and data management support.
- Support projection, financial modelling and proposal preparation, deal negotiation,
- Support BD group members to achieve annual target by actively coordinate member’s scheduling, travel arrangement, internal documentation and other internal logistics.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis, participate in the formulation and updating of business development strategies that are consistent with the company's overall strategy.
- Tack key competitor's pipeline progress and deals within target therapeutic areas.
- Support internal pipeline project valuation and pipeline strategy formulation. Liaison between BD team and R&D team, providing input into research design and data analytics, establishing project evaluation model.
- Connect R&D approach with commercial considerations in in bound projects. Be responsible for pre-evaluation, patient flow/buying process, projection, financial modelling and proposal preparation for in bound projects.
Requirements
- Master's in science discipline; a PhD in life-science is preferred.
- 3 years of previous experience in business development, consulting experience in healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong scientific orientation - deep understanding of the drug development, approval, and commercialization processes.
- Good interpersonal skills and sociability.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences.
- In depth knowledge of techniques of financial analysis, corporate and product valuation as necessary to engineer such deals.
- Strong results orientation, and the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
