- Always approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving any conflict in a calm and poised manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and fun environment by following established security procedures and being always aware of surroundings.
- Organize, run, and actively take part in the daytime and evening programs and entertainment.
- Host a variety of games, movies, and a range of fun & exciting events as well as communicating with your guests daily.
- On rainy days, you will need to organize indoor activities including craft projects, exercises, movies, and games.
- Deliver a varied and stimulating program to entertain children with games or other activities.
- Give customers relevant information about historical and cultural locations and events while conveying this information in an entertaining and informative manner.
- Assess and improve the entertainment programs on offer by obtaining guest feedback and making use of available resources.
- Project a positive, friendly, and caring attitude always while interacting with all guests.
- Check that all toys and other objects are clean and safe.
- Stay current on developments within the hotel by reviewing communications to each shift.
- Show initiative in job performance by anticipating the needs of guests and team members.
- Follow all company’s policies, procedures, and meet standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required, hospitality industry preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification required.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, or scheduled form.
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of reservation and POS systems.
- Ability to work with computers and good knowledge of operating software preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high degree of autonomy.
