Essential Job Functions
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Perform all repairs necessary to maintain optimum operational performance of equipment.
- Drive multi-lever equipment.
- Decipher manuals for equipment.
- Wash equipment.
- Change oil and grease equipment.
- Adhere to hotel safety standards.
- Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager.
Verifiable mechanical experience in golf equipment maintenance, automotive and/or diesel.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to accomplish tasks and maintenance schedules furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Work tasks are performed indoor/outdoor.
- Position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach multiple locations across 4 golf courses in a timely manner.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. On a regular and continuing basis.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
- Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
