INNIO is investing in all-new Makino & Waldrich Coburg machining centers, FANUC robotics, and advanced automation technology, creating machining cells built around the most advanced manufacturing technology available today.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate CNC machining centers used to manufacture large, high-precision engine components
Support the launch and production ramp-up of new Makino horizontal and 5-axis machining centers & Waldrich Coburg bridge mills and FANUC automated cells
Perform tooling changes, offsets, setups, and process adjustments
Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements
Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues
Support improvements in quality, cycle time, tool life, and overall process performance
Help establish machining standards and best practices for the new Waukesha operation
What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience, or equivalent technical training/apprenticeship experience
Experience setting up and operating CNC milling equipment
Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds, work holding, and machining fundamentals
Ability to read technical drawings and perform dimensional inspections
Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on, continuous improvement mindset
Experience with horizontal machining centers, 5-axis machining, FANUC or Siemens controls, or large-part machining is a plus, but not required
