Job description:
Innerlink Security & Sound is seeking an experienced technician with at least 1 year recent low voltage experience.
Must be familiar with any of the following installations or servicing of alarm systems, pool alarms, video surveillance, central vacuums, audio, video, intercom, networking and/or home automation.
The applicant would be responsible for installing, programming, testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of burglar alarm systems.
- Familiar with various types of alarm brands.
- Programming, testing and troubleshooting.
- Smart home device installation, programming and troubleshooting.
- Customer training.
- Design and install security systems based on client needs and specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems.
- Perform system upgrades and modifications as required.
- Provide technical support to clients and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective security operations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in security technology.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Security Specialist or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of system design and installation
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and hand tools
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications
- Understanding of computer networking and hardware components
- Knowledge of locksmithing principles and techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for working with various security system components
