Inner Peace Counseling is expanding, and we are seeking dedicated Peer Support Specialists to join our team of contracted providers. At Inner Peace, we support clients through trauma-informed, person-centered care. Our Peer Support Specialists play an essential role in helping clients build confidence, access supportive resources, strengthen daily living skills, and feel connected as they work toward their treatment goals.
About the Position
This is a contracted 1099 role with no set schedule. Peer Support Specialists have full flexibility to manage their caseloads and availability in a way that supports both their clients and their personal lives.
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and is based on experience and certification.
What You Will Do
As a Peer Support Specialist with Inner Peace Counseling, you will:
- Offer lived-experience support, modeling hope, resilience, and recovery
- Provide client-centered peer services that enhance coping, confidence, and personal empowerment
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and navigating support systems
- Build rapport and trust through empathy, validation, and active engagement
- Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and the administrative team
- Provide services in alignment with OHP standards and Inner Peace documentation guidelines

- Current Peer Support Specialist certification (or the ability to obtain one)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working independently as a contractor

Pay: $23.33 - $28.09 per hour
