Position Overview
The Unarmed Field Supervisor provides leadership and support to security officers across multiple client sites while maintaining a professional security presence. This role helps ensure officers follow post orders, respond to incidents appropriately, and maintain high service standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and random patrols of client sites
- Support and supervise on-duty officers across multiple locations
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies when needed
- Monitor properties and report hazards, suspicious activity, or unusual occurrences
- Perform site inspections and quality checks
- Operate emergency equipment if required
- Document nightly operations and complete incident and supervisory reports
- Investigate and report security breaches or disturbances
Basic Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Active Guard License through WA DOL required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Leadership ability and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Active cellphone
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to pass a drug screening
Physical & Mental Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, especially during emergencies
- Ability to read and interpret written information in various situations
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle during the course of duties if required
- Ability to detect emergency sounds, alarms, and distress signals
- Ability to walk, stand, run, climb, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if required
- Must be able to make quick decisions during emergency situations
