Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs/week (hours may vary slightly)
- Saturdays, 8am-4pm, West studio
- Sundays, 11am-7pm, East studio
- Mondays, 11am-7pm, East studio
- Tuesdays, 11am-7pm, West studio
- Wednesdays, 11am-7pm, East studio
Salary Range: $47,000 - $51,000 annually, based on skills and experience (with the possibility of performance-based raises and/or sales-based bonuses)
Reports to: Hannah Moran, East Studio Owner / Director of Marketing & Operations

Job Summary: This job wears many hats to support the needs of our small business. The Studio Manager (SM) is responsible for the overall smooth day-to-day operations of Inner Fire Yoga studios, increasing membership sales, and providing ongoing oversight to all front desk and cleaning staff. SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow membership sales and retention
- Perform daily sales outreach to leads, first visits, lapsed members, new members, etc.
- Lead the front desk (sales) team, providing sales training and oversight as needed
STAFF MANAGEMENT
- Be the on-call manager at all times except when on vacation / using PTO
- Manage the front desk (sales) team and all front desk operations at both studios. Includes staffing, scheduling, training, supervision, and oversight, ensuring all front desk SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are being followed
- Manage the cleaning teams at both studios in partnership with the Lead Cleaners. Includes assisting with staffing, scheduling, training, supervision, and oversight, ensuring all cleaning SOPs are being followed
- Work front desk and/or cleaning shifts in the event of emergency sub needs when no other staff are available
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Troubleshoot account issues for patrons
- Respond to inquiries from patrons promptly and with a high level of service
- Uphold our studio policies and values in all communications
FACILITIES UPKEEP
- Keep both studios fully stocked with basic cleaning and hygiene supplies, placing supply orders regularly to prevent running out
- Receive and unpack deliveries of studio supplies
- Donate Lost & Found items from both studios monthly (or more often if needed)
- Report any facilities issues to the appropriate staff promptly
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Manage the Yoga Scholarship program
- Recruit Student Spotlights monthly
- Award gifts for membership anniversary milestones and yoga challenge finishers
- Coordinate Private Yoga appointments and Group Class requests
- Assist with event/workshop prep and staffing
- Assisting the Director of Operations with special projects as needed
The overarching benchmarks of success for the SM position include:
- Growing membership sales
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Helping and motivating patrons to develop a habitual, long-term yoga practice
- Providing leadership and oversight of the front desk and cleaning teams
- Ensuring the studios are clean, stocked, and staffed at all times
The ideal SM possesses the following qualities:
- Confident, friendly demeanor and service-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work when and where needed (East vs. West studio / extra hours as needed)
- Well-organized, highly productive, and able to multitask when necessary
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Leadership skills (prior management experience is a plus!)
- Dependable, reliable, and professional work ethic
- Has access to a vehicle for running studio errands / driving between studios frequently
- Experience with yoga is strongly desired, especially hot yoga
- Experience with Google Suite (gmail, docs, sheets, etc.)
