This role manages equipment inventory, order fulfillment, shipment coordination, returns, quality control, and office readiness while also helping clients with onboarding, remote assessments, and equipment setup. Core Responsibilities:
Inventory and Equipment:
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Conduct routine audits and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Prepare equipment for new client onboarding
- Inspect, clean, organize, and maintain equipment for deployment
Shipping and Fulfillment:
- Process equipment and product orders
- Coordinate pick, pack, and shipping activities
- Manage outgoing shipments, returns, and shipment tracking
- Work with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers for efficient delivery and compliance
Office and Team Support:
- Receive shipments and maintain an organized office and storage environment
- Prepare the site for visiting staff or events
- Provide contingency support, documentation, and process improvements for the broader team
Client Support:
- Serve as the primary contact for order status and shipping inquiries
- Resolve shipping issues and communicate updates proactively
- Assist with remote assessments, equipment setup, and client onboarding support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfort handling hardware, packaging, and inventory systems
- Professional client communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, shipping tools, and CRM systems
- Experience in small business, startup, health-tech, or equipment-based operations is a plus
Position Details:
- Part-time contractor: 10–15 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Location: Huntersville, NC (hybrid — on-site remote coordination)
- Compensation: $20-$30/hour
- Occasional travel may be required
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
