Interior Designer

Job Description

Innen Studio is seeking an intermediate interior designer to join our team! This role will work closely with our Principal Designer across all phases of projects, and is ideal someone who enjoys both operations and creative design work.

Ideal candidates have 4 years of experience, strong technical and creative skills, and experience working on high-end residential projects. Full-time position. Based in San Francisco/Bay Area only.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients, architects, contractors, fabricators, and vendors to support project coordination
• Guide projects through all phases of design including concept, schematic design, design development, and documentation
• Research, source, and specify materials, finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and furnishings
• Design custom furniture, millwork, and tailored interior elements
• Develop visual research, mood boards, and presentation materials for client meetings
• Prepare comprehensive drawing sets, schedules, specifications, and supporting documentation
• Track and manage project budgets, timelines, and procurement processes
• Assist with construction administration, site coordination, and installation oversight

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional interior design experience
• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related design discipline
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Google Workspace
• Experience working with high-end residential clients and custom projects
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to work both collaboratively and independently
• A valid California Driver's License and car are required for travel to project sites.

Compensation:

• $80-95k depending on experience. Benefits offered.
