Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while effectively upselling menu items.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health regulations.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Micros POS, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
