Summary of Position
The Grounds Maintenance Warehouse Attendant is responsible for managing the organization, inventory, and distribution of maintenance supplies and equipment within the warehouse. This role involves receiving shipments, organizing tools and materials, and supporting the maintenance team by ensuring they have the necessary items for daily operations.

- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Organize and store inventory in the warehouse, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and easily accessible.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, tracking the usage of materials and tools.
- Prepare and distribute supplies and equipment to the maintenance team as needed for repairs and facility upkeep.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Assist the facility maintenance team by organizing and providing necessary tools, equipment, and materials for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of equipment and supplies to different departments or job sites within the facility.
- Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks, such as light repairs, cleaning, or moving materials as required.
- Monitor stock levels of essential maintenance supplies (e.g., spare parts, cleaning agents, tools) and coordinate with the purchasing department for reorders.
- Ensure that all inventory is stored in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of all issued and returned materials, tools, and equipment.
- Dispose of obsolete or damaged inventory following company policies and environmental regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and guidelines when handling materials, equipment, and chemicals.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the maintenance supervisor for repair or replacement.
- Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks in a safe and responsible manner (if certified).
- Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing shipments, including delivery receipts and packing lists.
- Assist with generating reports on inventory usage, shortages, and reordering needs for management review.
- Support the facility and maintenance teams by keeping updated records of maintenance schedules and equipment warranties.
- Work closely with the facility and maintenance staff to understand their material and equipment needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to track deliveries and resolve any discrepancies in orders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and management about inventory status, equipment needs, or safety concerns.

- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related role, preferably in a maintenance or facilities environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and basic knowledge of facility maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment is preferred.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
