Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, suites, cottages, and assigned public areas in accordance with IBH standards
- Prepare guest rooms and cottages to established standards, ensuring they are guest-ready for Housekeeping Supervisor inspection
- Clean and maintain IBH cottages, including:
- Lakeside Cottages (located near the hotel)
- Crooked Tree Cottages (located near Crooked Tree Golf Club)
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities to ensure a consistent luxury experience
- Clean kitchens, living spaces, and multiple bathrooms in cottage units with a high level of detail and care
- Clean and maintain outdoor patio areas and furnishings at both guest rooms and cottage units, as applicable
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost & found items promptly
- Ensure carts and supply areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Review and complete assigned rooms and areas within designated timeframes
- Communicate room status updates and task completion in accordance with department procedures
- Respect guest privacy and adhere to all Do Not Disturb (DND) protocols
- Respond to guest requests with professionalism, urgency, and courtesy
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
- Support team members and assist in other areas of the resort as needed to meet operational needs
- Demonstrate a warm, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor always
- Take pride in creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for every guest
- Approach responsibilities with care, empathy, and attention to detail
- Uphold IBH’s values by treating guests and team members with respect and professionalism
- Maintain flexibility and a team-first mindset in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hospitality experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently
- Assignments may include a mix of standard guest rooms and multi-room cottages
- Cottage assignments require additional time, attention to detail, and care due to larger layouts and residential-style amenities
- Daily assignments are distributed among team members and may vary based on occupancy and operational needs
