Role Description The Process Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves setting up, monitoring, and adjusting injection molding and in-mold processes to ensure consistent product quality and optimal cycle times. The Process Technician will perform routine equipment checks, identify and resolve processing issues, and support implementation of new molds and process changes. Daily responsibilities include documenting process parameters, working with quality and engineering teams to meet specifications, and supporting continuous improvement activities. The role also involves assisting in training production staff on proper operating procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve process and equipment issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to inspect parts, verify adherence to specifications, and maintain process documentation.
- Candidates should possess Process Engineering-related skills to optimize molding parameters, support new process setups, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to perform basic maintenance, identify wear or potential failures, and coordinate repairs.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to support onboarding and instruction of operators on procedures, safety, and best practices.
- Experience with injection molding equipment and auxiliary systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and measurement data.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
