Position Summary: Under general supervision of a manager, the Software Engineer II is a full-stack engineer who performs work assignments at the task and feature level, with full responsibility for completing individual tasks in a timely fashion to provide complete and correct results. Key Responsibilities: Full-Stack Development (30%): Design and develop user-friendly frontend applications using Bootstrap, Angular, Vue, or Blazor and JavaScript frameworks. Build robust backend services and APIs using C# and Python, ensuring high performance and scalability. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver responsive and accessible applications. Database Management (20%): Design, develop, and optimize database schemas and queries in SQL Server and Postgres. Cloud and DevOps (20%): Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure or GCP, leveraging services for compute, storage, and networking. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong programming skills in JavaScript, C#, and Python. Proficiency in database design and optimization with SQL Server and Postgres. Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP for building and deploying cloud applications. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
