Position Summary:

Position Summary:
The Press Brake operator's primary responsibility is programming the CNC press brake and forming custom parts. Attention to details is critical for this position.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· CNC Press brake operation
- Verify bendability of parts with provided software
- Program CNC press brake for a variety of standard and custom parts
- Bend and verify accuracy of parts produced
- Organize parts in various job pallets to streamline welding process
- Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
- Operate forklift, if required and trained.
- Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will be required to cross-train in other areas of the shop.
- Will be trained and required to operate other machinery such as CNC router, CNC laser, Surface finishing machine.
- Will be cross trained in assembly and testing of custom material handling systems
- Required to have proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system.
- Weld clean weldments with passivating equipment.
- Build pallets/crates according to prints.

Safety, Quality, Accuracy, Timeliness, Reliability and Thoroughness of work performed; Develops a working knowledge of the production environment and has the ability to respond to change.
Working Conditions:
This position works in a production environment. Safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 70 pounds is required.
