Warhouse Associate/ Back Up Driver (Class C)

Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and forkliftss to move inventory safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records using inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders and ensuring proper documentation.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, stocking shelves, packaging products, and order picking to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain safety protocols by using personal protective equipment, adhering to safety regulations, and following established warehouse procedures for material handling and equipment operation.
• Support warehouse operations such as order fulfillment, packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for dispatch while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Assist the warehouse supervisor with daily tasks and act as backup driver for Class C vehicle deliveries when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including inventory management, shipping & receiving, order picking & packing.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely while following safety regulations.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
• Technical proficiency with inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in logistics or transportation preferred.
• Familiarity with safety protocol adherence and use of personal protective equipment .
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
