Role Description The Outreach Specialist is a part-time remote role focused on growing and engaging Inlight’s community of students, recent graduates, and entertainment professionals. In this role, you will identify and contact university programs, student organizations, and relevant communities to introduce them to Inlight and encourage platform adoption. You will manage outreach campaigns, coordinate virtual info sessions, and respond to inquiries from users and partners. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research on target schools and programs, drafting outreach messages and informational materials, tracking outreach activities in simple reports, and gathering feedback to help improve the platform and user experience. The role involves close collaboration with the internal team to align outreach efforts with product updates and marketing initiatives.

- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Customer Service and Community Outreach skills to build relationships, address questions, and support users and partners.
- Research skills to identify target universities, programs, organizations, and opportunities for community growth.
- Writing skills to craft outreach emails, platform descriptions, social posts, and basic support documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple outreach activities.
- Interest in the entertainment industry and familiarity with university or early-career communities is highly beneficial.
- Experience with basic productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing) and social media platforms.
