Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician- Heavy Duty Trucks / Diesel Mechanic
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, No nights or weekends!
The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following:
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example: hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.
- Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work independently, as well as part of a team
Preference given to candidates who are self-motivated, detail oriented, have 3 years of experience within the heavy duty industry, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.
