The Clinical Therapist specializes in providing mental health treatment to adolescents enrolled in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Responsibilities include conducting psycho‑social assessments, facilitating adolescent‑specific individual and group therapy, providing family engagement and psycho‑education, performing crisis intervention and SUD evaluations, and coordinating discharge planning. Services are delivered using evidence‑based and developmentally appropriate practices to promote emotional regulation, behavioral stabilization, and healthy functioning in adolescents.

Minimum Qualifications
- A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or a related discipline.
- Must obtain an Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC), or Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (SWAIC).
- Direct experience in individual and family group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
- Current BLS, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation certification, provided by INBH.
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW), Licensed Psychologist
- Preferred three (3) years, post-Master’s experience in a psychiatric health care setting.
- Active Chemical Dependency Professional/Trainee license.
Essential Responsibilities – Adolescent PHP
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) using evidence‑based, developmentally appropriate practices.
- Conduct psychosocial, developmental, and behavioral assessments and document changes in clinical status.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and teach coping, emotional regulation, and treatment‑engagement skills.
- Collaborate with adolescents and families to develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
- Support families through education, consultation, and family meetings.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and complete timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, care coordination, and discharge planning.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal, ethical, and mandated reporting requirements.
