The Position:
We are hiring for a Construction Project Engineer to join our construction team. This is a an on-site position, thus the ability to travel is necessary. As the on-site Project Engineer, you will provide on-site coordination for all phases of multifamily construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

- Assist Project Manager with the following:
- Pre-development input on proposed projects and budgets.
- Bid procurement, budget, schedule, and buy out start to finish.
- Review and approve all subcontractor submittals including references and quotes.
- Maintain weekly status reports for projects.
- Create and maintain site logistics plan.
- Manage invitations to bid for individual projects.
- Review and manage RFI’s and submittals.
- Responsible for as built maintenance.
- Maintain historic cost and schedule analysis.
What We Are Seeking:

- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Previous experience with multifamily construction, specifically wood framed projects preferred.
- Complete knowledge of plan reading, shop drawing review, and specification review.
- Experience with schedule management software and CPM creation.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
- Competitive salary, $80,000-$90,000 (based on experience).
