Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box trucks to transport goods efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations diligently to ensure the safety of other road users.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or coordinators regarding schedules, routes, or any incidents during transit.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries or equipment as required, ensuring proper handling and security.
Qualifications
- Valid non-commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
- Familiarity with operating box trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo.
