DESIGNER | JOB DESCRIPTION
Inkling is seeking a skilled Designer to join our creative team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll bring concepts to life through thoughtful visual design and contribute to the development of immersive brand experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
At Inkling, we craft experiences that bridge the digital and physical worlds. Our team of experience designers creates immersive brand activations, eye-catching websites, and compelling visual storytelling.
As a Designer, you’ll take written and verbal briefs and translate them into clear, intentional visual work. You’ll collaborate closely with Art Directors and Creative Directors to develop design systems, build presentations, explore visual territories, and support the execution of experiential and digital projects. Strong craft, attention to detail, and a willingness to explore new ideas are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop visual design for experiential, event, and graphic design projects
- Explore visual concepts and support Art Directors in shaping creative treatments
- Build presentation decks with a strong focus on layout, hierarchy, and storytelling
- Produce design assets across formats, from digital mockups to environmental graphics
- Maintain consistency of visual systems and brand guidelines across deliverables
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, engineers, and strategists within a cross-functional team
- Manage feedback, iterate quickly, and deliver polished work under tight timelines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of design experience in an agency or studio environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design, layout, and visual storytelling
- Experience contributing to experiential, event, or environmental design projects
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to craft
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of agency or studio design experience
- Experience designing for physical spaces (signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics)
- Familiarity with motion design or 3D tools
- Experience supporting pitches and early-phase concepting
