Role Description The Land Acquisition Agent (in-house) is a full-time, hybrid position based in Loveland, CO, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is focused on supporting land acquisition campaigns by performing outreach, data entry, document preparation, and basic research in collaboration with supporting teams. Candidates will leverage internal tool and processes (Land Flow, Teams, Land Administration workflows) to move landowner conversations toward contracted land agreements.
Pay $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year (salary)
Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid in-house environment.
- Comfortable with basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Microsoft Teams, and web research.
- Detail oriented; ability to follow established processes and accurately record information.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience in land acquisition and land management, including coordination with landowners and maintaining organized land files.
- Proficiency in lease negotiations and handling leases, with the ability to secure favorable terms and build constructive long-term relationships.
- Familiarity with title concepts and land-related documentation in the energy sector; prior work with land management software is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in records and agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Land Management, Energy Management (or similar degrees) or equivalent relevant experience.
