Medical Writer - II

Our company, Injury Accident Network, is seeking a skilled entry level Medical Writer to assist with the compilation and creation of structured proprietary medical reports including Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs), medical-legal reports, and clinical documentation. This role works closely with scientists, medical providers, and leadership to turn complex medical data into clear, accurate, and defensible narratives. The position may be remote, in-office, or hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and edit IME reports, Impairment Ratings, Apportionment Letters, etc.

Translate medical records and interviews into structured clinical narratives

Assist with:

• Letters of Medical Necessity
• Future Cost Estimates (FECL)
• Neurological Reports
• Medical publications

Qualified Applicant must be able to:

• Follow SOPs and protocols
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy and defensibility

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (health-related field preferred)
• Experience in medical writing, clinical documentation, or medical-legal work
• Have had technical or medical writing as part of their Bachelor’s degree
• Strong command of medical terminology
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills (styles, formatting, document organization)
• Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for drafting and workflow efficiency
• Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills

Preferred experience:

• Performing clinical interviews with patients using standardized scales
• Certifications utilizing some or many DSM5 diagnostic tools.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
