The Role


We are seeking a Risk and Insurance Compliance Solutions Manager who will bring deep knowledge of insurance compliance, risk management, or legal risk-transfer work into our product development process. This is not a traditional technology role — it’s an opportunity for someone who knows insurance compliance, brokerage operations, enterprise risk management, or contract review at a legal firm to guide how next-generation solutions are designed and delivered.

You don’t need to be a technologist. What we need is your firsthand understanding of insurance requirements, vendor compliance, and risk workflows — and the ability to translate those realities into solutions that work for the industry.


Responsibilities


Client Engagement & Support

  • Work with established clientele to ensure strong, long-term relationships.
  • Meet with clients routinely to discuss pain points, successes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare clear meeting minutes after key stakeholder meetings.


Product Development Collaboration

  • Act as the voice of brokers, carriers, enterprise compliance teams, and legal stakeholders in shaping our products.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and execute new features that address client needs.
  • Review new feature releases as a final point of approval before launch.
  • Track development releases and share updates both internally and externally.
  • Proactively identify gaps or improvement opportunities within Injala’s software products.


Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with the marketing team by sharing client feedback, success stories, and competitive insights.
  • Assist the accounting department with client billing activities when needed.
  • Source and validate third-party data to be integrated into Injala products.
  • Gain and share intelligence on competitors and industry trends.


Industry Expertise & Strategy

  • Ensure our solutions remain aligned with compliance requirements, contract obligations, and industry best practices.
  • Stay informed on regulations, risk management practices, and compliance standards that impact clients.


Qualifications


Required:

  • 5 years of experience in insurance compliance, brokerage operations, enterprise risk management, or legal contract review involving insurance and risk-transfer requirements.
  • Deep understanding of certificates of insurance, vendor compliance, and carrier/broker requirements.
  • Ability to clearly communicate compliance needs, workflows, and pain points.
  • Strong relationship-building, client engagement, and collaboration skills.


Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Exposure to SaaS or insurance technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with product management practices (Agile, roadmaps, user testing).
  • Interest in AI-driven tools, automation, and innovation in insurance.
