Director, Program Management

About the Role:

The Director, Program Management is a leadership position that oversees a business unit consisting of multiple new/existing agency accounts. You are a seasoned project management professional, comfortable working with a steady brand in maintenance mode as well as a brand preparing for a complex launch. You will provide a point of escalation across multiple project teams, ensuring delivery and operational excellence while supporting agency and department growth initiatives.

This is a remote role reporting into the Director of Operations.

You Will:

• Participate in new business efforts, present workflow, process, pricing, etc. in pitches as necessary
• Manage and direct a team of Project Managers in management of complex, multi-team, multi-vendor, and multi-project programs including the development of detailed scopes, estimated and project plans
• Partner with senior cross-functional leads on account-level initiatives to drive the business forward
• Participate in brand planning efforts, able to visualize and speak to execution at high-level
• Pro-actively identifies optimizations and opportunities to adjust process (both internally and externally)
• Present and prepare well-defined solutions to PM and to agency leadership
• Develop and maintain key operational tools, often leading department plans to improve internal process, workflows, trainings, etc .
• Identify opportunities to optimize agency pricing, working with leadership and operations to identify vendors that can contribute to better pricing or profits
• Understand the appropriate staffing for an account, both in quantity and talent-to-task and can recommend staffing changes within dept to address individual account needs
• Oversee the growth and development of Senior Project Managers and Associate Directors depending on team size
• Provide onboarding and training of new team members
  
  

You Will Bring:

• 8 years in pharmaceutical marketing or communications agency experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, or communications
• Ability to present marketing and strategic plans to main decision makers (internal and external)
• Demonstrated leadership in a collaborative environment
• Demonstrated people management experience
• Experience working across both HCP and DTC focused brands

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation

$135,000—$150,000 USD
