Senior Private Equity Analyst
- Rating Score: 90–100
- Pay: $150–$200/hour
- Typical Background: Former investment banking, private equity, growth equity, leveraged finance, or senior consulting professionals with 5 years of buy-side or transaction experience
- Rating Score: 80–89
- Pay: $100–$150/hour
- Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of private equity, transaction execution, or advanced financial modeling experience
- Rating Score: 60–79
- Pay: $50–$100/hour
- Typical Background: Entry- to mid-level analysts with strong technical, analytical, and deal execution skills

- Sensitivity, scenario, and downside case analysis

- Commercial, operational, and financial diligence
- Risk identification and investment thesis validation

- Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training
- Receive category-specific approvals (Private Equity, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
- Complete verification and onboarding
- Begin earning immediately through hourly engagements and live buy-side deal work
Verified analysts are actively promoted to funds, independent sponsors, and deal principals.
Certification & Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
- Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
- Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training
- Active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Private Equity Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
- Platform visibility and promotion priority
- Approved private equity and analytical work categories
- Recommended hourly compensation range
- Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees
- Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval tier
- Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
- Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
- Payments are issued only after successful transaction completion and fee collection
- Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues
Private Equity Analysts Do Not
- Provide investment advice
- Solicit securities
- Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
