This is a full-time, on-site role for an Emergency Medicine Physician based in Kansas City, KS. The role includes providing high-quality medical care to patients in need of emergency services. Responsibilities include performing initial assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. The Emergency Medicine Physician will work in close collaboration with the healthcare team and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Proven expertise in emergency medicine, including diagnosing and managing acute and critical medical conditions.
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, prescribing treatments, and delivering advanced life-saving interventions.
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Unrestricted medical license in the state of Kansas or ability to obtain one.
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications preferred.
