Live in. Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. Duties

• Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document all medical records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Support clients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and hospice care
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheter care supplies, and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and health standards are met
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality while managing medical documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Certification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as hospice or dementia care are a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is highly valued
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information
• Ability to assist with complex medical procedures including catheter care and hospice support
• Strong communication skills with the ability to observe patient conditions meticulously and report findings clearly
• Flexibility to work live-in shifts that may include overnight responsibilities and extended hours
