Minimum Requirements
Possess five (5) years of experience working within a large, matrixed organization, with a strong understanding of the IT landscape and end-to-end delivery processes.
Have five (5) years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for one or more Scrum teams, consistently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
Hold a SAFe Scrum Master certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org.
The Candidate shall demonstrate Scrum Master experience, particularly in the following areas:
Demonstrate Lean-Agile leadership by guiding team members to embrace Agile values, adopt Agile principles, and implement best practices.
Promote Agile quality practices so the team can meet its goals.
Proactively identify and resolve impediments to maintain progress and efficiency.
Facilitate all team meetings, including (but not limited to) the daily stand-up, Iteration Planning, Team Demo, and Iteration Retrospective.
Guide the team in estimating the team's work.
Keep the team focused on daily and iteration goals to include achieving results, quality, flow and velocity.
Ensure adherence to established standards for code development, automated testing, and build processes.
Ensure team follows standards for code version control, quality and documentation.
Track and analyze team metrics, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement.
Facilitate the team's retrospective process/ events and lead the team's improvement efforts.
Help maintain the team's work items in the appropriate tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
Coordinate with other Agile teams, such as participation in the Scrum of Scrums meeting. Liaison work with other Teams as necessary to gain or provide support.
Support the Product Owner in the communication of priorities and scope, develop roadmaps, and execution of the Iteration Review and system demo.
Expertise in leading an Agile development team accordingly as a master of the Scrum method.
