Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing & Payables: Assist with invoice management, processing payments on time, and working closely with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Analyze accounts, adjust resident ledgers, and ensure tenant payments are processed correctly.
- Portfolio Accounting Support: Work on tenant ledger accuracy and help resolve accounting inquiries for property managers.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Education: Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting (or related field).
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, eager to learn accounting software (Yardi Voyager).
- Detail-Oriented: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Team Player: Positive, receptive to feedback, and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills and a natural aptitude for working with numbers.
- Motivated Learner: Self-starter who’s curious and excited to gain hands-on experience.
- Confidentiality: Committed to maintaining privacy and integrity in all financial matters.
- Initial 3-Month Commitment: with opportunity for extension.
- Flexible hours (~20 hours/week), with scheduling that accommodates your school commitments.
- Competitive pay ranging from $18 to $23/hour, based on experience/college credits.
