TITLE: Business Intelligence and Data Analyst DUTIES: Develop and maintain high levels of data competency, accuracy standards and reporting. Build a vision on how data and metrics can support Ingredion’s long- term strategy and enhance business operations by building systems for all parts of the data lifecycle including collection, storage, accessibility, insights, and business action. Develop and deliver Azure Cloud Solutions to meet today’s high demand in areas such as IoT (Internet of Things), advanced analytics, open source, enterprise collaboration, microservices and serverless. Responsible for delivering cloud based big data and analytical solutions and developing and deploying data pipelines for extraction, transformation and reporting. Manage and analyze data by applying knowledge of Cloud data integration and management. Cover all aspects of data including data management, data governance, data intelligence, knowledge graphs, and IIoT. Implement data migration and data processing using Azure services including: ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Synapse/DW, Azure SQL DB, Event Hub, IOT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Service, HDInsight, Databricks, Azure Data Catalog, Cosmo Db, ML Studio and AI/ML. Build Azure data solutions and provide a technical perspective on storage, big data platform services, serverless architectures, Hadoop ecosystem, vendor products, RDBMS, DW/DM and NoSQL databases and security. Participate in architectural discussions to ensure customer success when building new solutions and migrating existing data applications on the Azure platform. Conduct full technical discovery, identifying pain points, business and technical requirements, “as is” and “to be” scenarios. Build a full technology stack of services required including PaaS (Platform as-a-service), IaaS (Infrastructure as-a-service), SaaS (software as-a-service), operations, management and automation. Remain abreast of new and emerging technologies, patterns, methodologies and market offerings that may be of interest to our organization or clients. Adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Apply Cloud migration methodologies and processes including tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Data Migration Service, SSIS, Event Hub and Kafka. Apply knowledge of the technology stack available in the industry for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing and curation including Kafka, StreamSets, GoldenGate, Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Cassandra, Spark, Flume, Hive and Impala. Manage customer expectations and schedules and build services to meet customer needs. Deliver scheduled reports to showcase program trends and progress. Collaborate closely with multiple teams including ERP Solution Architects, Design Analysts, Azure Data Architects, Security Analysts and business users. LOCATION: Ingredion Incorporated, 5 Westbrook Corporate Center, Westchester, Illinois 60154 REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in in the position offered, as a Digital Solution Architect Lead Consultant, Programmer Analyst, or a related position. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Applying data mining and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured data; Developing data models, including loading, transformation, and extraction; Performing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) report design; Collaborating with software architects and design analysts for requirement gathering; Utilizing programming and scripting including Python and SQL; and Utilizing cloud computing including Azure. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience. 20% travel is required to various and unanticipated Ingredion office locations and plants nationally.
