Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will manage printing, trimming, case binding, and shipping for assigned Lightning Source (LS) Production departments
The Operations Manager also supervises all associates, directly or indirectly, on the assigned shift
Shift: Wed-Fri 7pm-7am every other Saturday 7pm-7am
Manage materials and equipment necessary for the daily production and shipping of books to LSI customers, including but not limited to, order routing, material requisitioning, shift staffing, and quality control
Coordinate with other LS Departments, to resolve customer complaints, rush orders and meet client needs
Oversee and direct supervisors on assigned shift
Compose and approve associate evaluations and maintain accurate attendance/time records; recommending disciplinary measures, as needed
Interview applicants, approve hiring decisions and oversee training
Ensure that safety and hazardous material guidelines are followed by associates at all times
