Client Relations Coordinator

Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Client Relations Coordinator to join our Publishers Group West (PGW) team in Berkeley, CA.  In this role, you work with the Client Manager(s) as a primary contact for a group of PGW publisher clients in support of established sales and marketing goals. Additionally, you will work with management on projects on an as-needed basis.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent year for year directly related experience
• 2 years of experience in marketing, book publishing, book industry, account support, client administration, data management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in the publishing industry
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Canva

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports Client Relations team on all aspects of client data management, including reporting and systems training, operational follow-up, and publisher communication.
• Works with client publishers to ensure title data submissions meet all deadlines and requirements.
• Coordinates, vets, and updates print book and eBook metadata for client publishers.
• Compiles, double-checks, and communicates title changes for client lists.
• Solicits missing/revised cover and interior art, and sales materials for seasonal frontlist.
• Coordinates the scheduling publisher presales meetings, preparing documents for each, attendance, note-taking, and follow-up.
• Assists with sales conference planning, scheduling, attendance and note-taking.
• Troubleshoots metadata issues with online retailers, on behalf of client publishers.

Hiring Salary Range: $24.08/hr. - $29.58/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
