Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and maintaining cleanliness in the front of house area.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate the Toast POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, maintaining high quality and presentation.
- Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation zones.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed and ensure all front-of-house areas are well-organized.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with quick service fast food restaurant operations is a plus.
- Experience with food preparation and sanitation practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing excellent customer service.
- A background in grocery store operations can be advantageous for understanding customer needs.
