Overview
Inglewood General Contractors is a growing commercial GC specializing in public-sector, institutional, and commercial renovation projects. We operate with a small-company feel — tight-knit, supportive, and hands-on, while delivering high-level professionalism and detail on every project we manage.
We’re looking for a motivated Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, work closely with our superintendents and subcontractors, and maintain strong communication with architects, OPMs, and awarding authorities.
What You’ll Do
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage projects from award through completion, including schedules, budgets, and coordination.
- Review drawings, specs, RFI responses, and submittals; maintain clear and organized logs.
- Conduct frequent site visits to support field operations and verify progress.
- Lead coordination meetings to ensure work aligns with contract scope and schedule.
Administrative & Contract Responsibilities
- Set up and manage projects using a construction project management software platform.
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders/PCOs.
- Review subcontractor invoices, verify progress, and manage retainage.
- Track project budgets, cost exposure, and projected cash flow.
- Support scheduling and ensure documentation compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a primary point of contact for architects, OPMs, owners, and subcontractors.
- Draft clear, professional project updates and correspondence.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, TCO/CO requirements, and closeout documentation.
Who We’re Looking For
We are open to two types of candidates:
1. Experienced Project Manager
- 7–10 years of PM experience in commercial construction (public-sector experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, MEP coordination, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects.
2. Up-and-Coming Field-Proven Candidate
- Several years as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent at a reputable commercial GC.
- Strong field knowledge and readiness to transition into full project management.
- Willing to learn and grow on the administrative side with mentorship.

General Requirements
- An Active Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) is required.
- Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with project management software.
- Valid driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000–$120,000 salary, based on experience
