Location: Ingleside Communities – Mt Horeb, WI (On-site)
Status: Part-time
Schedule: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm - 3 days a week plus every other weekend

Job Summary:
The Receptionist position at Ingleside Communities must be a friendly, professional, and customer-focused person. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff and plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment while providing administrative and clerical support to the facility. The ideal person for this role is organized, dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcomes all visitors, applicants, staff, etc. Remember that they get their first impression of the facility from you – be sure it is a positive first impression.

Maintains confidentiality!

Keeps an updated room location listing at all times in order to properly direct visitors to residents' rooms.

Directs all residents' family members, employees with specific questions or concerns to the appropriate department supervisor. NEVER give out information regarding residents or employees, either to visitors or callers.

Always be aware that the receptionist area is accessible to everyone and it must be maintained professionally at all times.

Use paging system professionally at all times in locating individuals or making necessary announcements. Remember that your voice is heard by everyone present in the facility.

Other duties assigned by the office manager or facility administrator.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a high school graduate
-
Must have great communication skills
-
Must have typing and organization skills
-
Must be able to meet the public in a friendly, welcoming manner
- Must have knowledge of office equipment and supplies
- Must have sincere desire to work with residents, staff, visitors, and family members
- Must be able to intermittently stand, walk and sit 6-8 hours in an 8-hour day
- Must be able to occasionally bend, squat and twist body
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 20# with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 10#
