What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Security Officer position at Ingles Markets?
Milkco is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard. This position works 4:00pm - Midnight, 5 days a week with an alternating schedule. Some weekends are required.
The Security Guard is responsible for
- Monitoring security cameras.
- Signing in/out employees & visitors.
- Maintaining records of truck arrival/departure.
- Monitoring premises and reporting any facility issues.
- Making rounds for facility records.
- Answering phones.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Dependable with reliable transportation.
- Detail oriented and observant.
- Personable with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people.

Compensation Information:
- Automatic 60-Day Pay Review

Employment Requirements:
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening (provided by Milkco).
- Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
- Must pass an E-Verify Screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk around the building and climb stairs every 2 hrs.
- Must be able to work outdoors in variable weather.
Experience:
- Will train the right person.
- Prefer that applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
- Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people.
- Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere
