We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Sales & Event Director to lead our sales initiatives and orchestrate memorable events that elevate our brand presence. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing accounts, maximizing revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of events, including corporate gatherings, social celebrations, fundraisers, and special functions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, craft tailored event proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure all details align with their vision while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Promote the company through our various brands, ensuring complete customer service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee event marketing initiatives to promote upcoming events via digital channels, social media platforms, and community outreach efforts.
  • Manage vendor relationships for catering, décor, entertainment, and other event services to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
  • Monitor budgets meticulously, track expenses, and optimize resources to deliver successful events within financial parameters.
  • Lead a team of staff or vendors during large events, providing clear direction and ensuring organizational efficiency from setup through breakdown while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry—preferably with catering, banquet management, restaurant or hotel backgrounds—and a strong understanding of event planning processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Strong marketing acumen to develop compelling promotional campaigns for events and venue offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability in upselling additional services or packages to enhance revenue streams.
  • Extensive knowledge of event marketing strategies, event logistics management, catering coordination, and banquet operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences in hospitality settings.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in budgeting, contracts management, vendor negotiations, and financial tracking for events.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and senior management.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
