Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Webberville Elementary as a School Childcare Worker. This part-time position involves providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children before and after school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with students and their families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and supportive environment.
• Implement age-appropriate activities and games that promote learning and development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during childcare hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area.
• Follow all school policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and child supervision.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in child development or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Background check clearance as required by school policies.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons on school days.
