Responsibilities
- Partner across functions—including product management, HR, and procurement—to plan, resource, and deliver products and key projects.
- Use KPIs and action plans to drive effective daily management across materials, quality, machining, assembly, shipping/receiving, and warehousing.
- Build an engaged, inclusive, high‑performing culture rooted in safety and quality.
- Lead transformational change aligned with business unit strategies.
- Develop and coach employees while strengthening people and process capabilities to support sustainable improvement.
- Maintain a proactive, zero‑injury safety environment.
- Strengthen the plant quality system to enhance customer satisfaction, DPPM, first‑pass yield, and warranty performance.
- Respond proactively to customer needs, including delivery requirements, schedule adjustments, and special instructions.
- Oversee maintenance, facilities, and manufacturing engineering, including process improvements, facility upgrades, and capital projects.
- Guide plant teams in capital planning, materials management, and productivity improvements across labor and overhead.
- Own and manage the annual operating plan in alignment with business financial forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration; Master’s preferred.
- 7–10 years of operations experience across materials management, machining, assembly, or quality; machining experience a plus.
- 5 years of direct plant management in a multi‑product industrial or automotive manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success leading materials transformation; ERP implementation experience preferred.
- Required capabilities: customer focus, Lean principles, financial and operational execution, relationship building, team development, inventory management, problem‑solving, change management, strategic thinking, and project management.
- Helpful certifications: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, APICS, ISO, Oracle ERP.
