- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire protection, compressed air, and utility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations.
- Conduct building maintenance activities including painting, carpentry, flooring, and general repairs.
- Monitor facility systems for performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Support facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and office renovations.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and service work.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and facility-related breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, company safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with snow removal, grounds maintenance, waste disposal, and housekeeping activities as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve facility reliability, energy efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support production downtime activities and plant shutdown maintenance schedules.
- 3 years of maintenance or facilities experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Proficiency using maintenance management systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- HVAC certification.
- Electrical maintenance experience.
- Refrigeration or compressed air system experience.
- Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial lift certification.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in maintenance, industrial technology, or related field preferred.
