What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Multi‑Axis Machinist (Mills & Lathes) position at Ingersoll Rand?
Location: Mocksville, NC (Onsite)
Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM • Full-time, direct hire
A Day in This RoleAs the night shift comes alive, you’ll take ownership of a CNC cell, translating prints into precision parts. You’ll load programs, set tools, zero in on offsets, and watch your machines run true—holding to exacting specs as tight as 0.0002 in. When a tool dulls or a process drifts, you’ll diagnose, correct, and get production back on track. You’ll document results, route work to the next operation, and keep your area 5S-clean so the next handoff is seamless.
